Asphalt Millings are made from recycled asphalt pavement that has been crushed using a milling machine-typically when roads are being repaved-into sizes comparable to gravel. Uncrushed asphalt milling will vary in size and can have pieces as large as a football but in general millings are around a ¼ to a ½ inch in size and is not screened.
We also re-crush and screen this milled asphalt into a finer product known as crushed/processed milling. This product is typically a ¼ to a ½ inch in size and is screened to ensure there is no debris in the millings.
