The Lake Jackson Bridge Replacement Project in Jasper County is a 2.5-year GDOT project that involves the construction of a 5-span bridge on SR 212 over Lake Jackson. Throughout the project, structures crews will pour over 200 cubic yards of concrete for the bridges’ substructure, set over 4,100 linear feet of beams, and pour approximately 1,000 cubic yards of concrete for the bridges’ superstructure. The project also includes the construction of 2 MSE walls and 1 retaining wall, which are expected to be completed in the fall of 2025.
