Fuel Truck Driver
Reports to: Foreman
Work Hours: 50 hrs/week
Essential Job Functions:
– Safely transport various diesel fuels to job sites or bulk facilities
– Refuel storage tanks, vehicles and equipment as necessary
– Safety Knowledge: should be familiar/have experience Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations, as well as following safety procedures and highway traffic signals at each individual project
-Time Management: keep efficient scheduling and operate procedures in a timely manner
-Familiarity with Industry Standards: comprehend and stay updated with DOT regulations
Responsibilities:
-Maintain a safe vehicle and equipment
-Follow flagger instructions while on site
-Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections per company policy
-Work with and load a variety of raw materials
-Process and turn in proper documents for each load and/or project to supervisors
-Perform other related tasks as necessary
Education and Experience:
– Minimum of 2 years driving experience
– Class A or B Driver’s License with HAZMAT & TANKER Endorsements required
– Safe driving record
-Experience and familiarity with road construction industry preferred
