Ga Hwy 72 Widening (Comer Bypass)

We are the prime contractor on GDOT’s project widening Highway 72 in Madison County.

The “eastern” project is 2.9 miles long and starts at Hwy. 172, where the four lane narrows to two lanes, and continues to Comer, including new bridges over the Broad River.

The “western” project is 9.08 miles and is the Comer Bypass from north of Comer to Carlton to the Elbert County line. It includes new bridges for the South Fork of the Broad River.
