Mechanic, Heavy Equipment, Asphalt Division
E.R. Snell is currently looking for an experienced mechanic to work in our asphalt division within the metro Atlanta area.
Responsibilities include the following:
- Equipment maintenance
- Equipment repair
- Safe work habits
- Ordering parts
- Engine diagnostics
The mechanic will work on general equipment – primarily Road Tec paver, Shuttle Buggy, Caterpillar rollers, Komatsu loaders, Volvo Rollers, Road Tec Brooms, and Hamm Rollers.
The ideal candidate will have prerequisite knowledge of heavy equipment systems, an understanding of safe job practices for repairing equipment, and exhibit strong teamwork, verbal, and written skills. Physical requirements include the ability to lift a maximum of 50 pounds, ability to stoop, bend, climb, and crawl without restrictions and must be able to pass a DOT physical exam.
