This large project began in March 2008 and involves the construction of a portion of the Rome Bypass. ER Snell will eventually move over 4,000,000 cubic yards of dirt and rock to allow a smooth grade through this mountainous area. In addition, the project includes 12 large concrete box culverts and 3 double bridges.

 

Our construction will provide almost 5.5 miles of divided 4 lane roadway connecting to remaining portions of the bypass in this area. At this point in our construction we are deeply involved in working the large amount of earthwork and have successfully moved almost 2 million yards of material. In addition, most of the culverts have been constructed and bridge crews are placing concrete almost every day.
